Thank you to everyone who gave their time on the 626 Member Survey. If you missed it and would like to help us out, you can take the anonymous survey here.
One concern that was frequently expressed is how often the gym is cleaned. To answer your question, the gym gets a thorough cleaning once a week, in addition to any necessary maintenance before cleaning day. The windows get wiped down, the walls get wiped, surfaces are dusted, the floor gets vacuumed then mopped, the door knobs get disinfected, the toilets get scrubbed, the bathrooms are bleached, and the list goes on.
Yes, my 60+ y.o. parents help me keep the gym clean for the members. I didn’t ask them to. They just decided they would help me out, and that they’d do a better job than any cleaning company because they do one thing that those companies can’t do. They do it with love. It’s gross to clean up your dried up sweat and spit, blood splatter, urine stain, fecal matter, dead skin, protein/liquid spills, etc. It’s a dirty job, so please, return the love to mom and dad (and your coaches) by cleaning up after yourselves whenever you can. It’s a group effort.
If there’s anything that can be improved, please let us know. Your feedback is always welcome.
