New Pilot Program: 626 Mobility Mechanics (aka- MM)
626 will be piloting a new specialty program starting 10/7/13. Similar to our strength and endurance programs in the past, this program is designed as additional work to complement your regular wods.
Since this is a pilot program, sign-up is free for all unlimited members, on a first come first serve basis. All we ask is for you to be able to attend all (or almost all) of the MM sessions and provide feedback on the program.
DESCRIPTION:
In this 6-week course, we will spend each 45 minute class priming our bodies for better mobility. The first 4 sessions will be a clinic on how and where positions of high stability are achieved. The last 2 sessions will incorporate movements of transition between positions of high stability. We understand that each athlete is different, and thus each athlete’s goals will be unique. We solve this by focused mobility work in positions where the individual athlete is having the most trouble. Our body is a system and must be treated as such. This program will help you identify issues that may be caused up stream or down stream from the actual location of restriction.
