BBC details:
- Who is it for? Anyone who enjoys picking up weights and putting them back down, and doing it over and over again. This program is an emphasis on gaining strength with Olympic weightlifting.
- What is it? BBC comprises of an 8 to 12 week weightlifting program that includes olympic lifts, squats, presses, and a variety of accessory work such as pulls, and block work. There is no conditioning programmed in BBC. During each class, a coach will be present to critique your lifts.
- How does it work? RSVP and sign in when you coming into class. You can come in any time during the allotted time slot. BBC training will take about 60-120 minutes to complete the workout for the day, so plan accordingly. Your coach will have the program on the whiteboard, and you are responsible for properly warming up before you begin.
- How do I get started? BBC is included with your CF unlimited membership so you pay NOTHING extra! Yes, this means that you can do both CF and BBC. However, it is recommended that you commit to either program, and not both (as high volume can lead to burnout and injury). What if I’m on 2x/wk, can I drop in? Yes! 2x/wk members can jump in at the drop in rate.
Merry Christmas Kids!
