POWERLIFTING CLINIC

What: Learn from the expert! Powerlifting Coach Mark Galvin will teach you through lecture and Q&A. You can expect hands on coaching on the Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. Whether you’re new or a veteran at these lifts, you can take away new knowledge on mechanics from positioning to breathing.
You can expect:
- How to breathe like you were designed to.
- Proper cuing and technique for the Big 3 Lifts.
- How to identity YOUR weaknesses and devise a plan to address them.
- How to recover smarter.

About Coach Mark:
Mark had always been active outside of his day job in the Entertainment Industry. Training for cycling and SCUBA diving in Globo-Gyms he eventually found Crossfit and in turn Powerlifting which he now competes in. He’s been fortunate in the years since to have been mentored and trained by some of the world’s best strength and conditioning coaches. Forever a student he continues searching out the best information and then implementing and tinkering with the athletes of the Iron Pile program that he runs out of Valley Crossfit.
As Mark traveled the country, dropping into boxes as a Guest Coach, he’s gotten to work with a wide variety of athletes, from Powerlifters to Marathoners, Crossfit Games athletes to High School Varsity sports. His focus is making each of those athletes more capable and proficient both with a barbell and their recovery.
