No matter what program you’ve decided to dive into, whether it’s 626 Barbell Club or CrossFit, expect a level of commitment to show up as consistent as possible. With that said, there also needs to be a level of flexibility and reflection. In order for consistency to happen, you may need to ask yourself a few questions. Am I getting too wrecked on the workouts? Am I too sore to keep showing up? Am I enjoying it? Am I on the right track towards my goals? Are there certain movements that are just completely demoralizing to me?
Many people are looking for quick fixes. Make sure that your consistent work is progressive. Results do show by just showing up as consistent as possible. But to take it to the next level, make sure that strength and skills are continuously improving. We do our best to fill in the gaps that we see. But also do take advantage of bringing up questions to any and all your coaches to level you up on any platform you are curious about, from nutrition to skills and mobility work.
